Helpful Donkey ("we," "us," "Donkey") respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect on this site and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you submit the "Give Donkey a Job" form, we collect what you choose to tell us: your name, business or organization, email, and optionally phone and website, along with your description of the problem you're trying to solve, budget range, and any files or screenshots you attach.

We do not use tracking advertising networks on this site. Basic, privacy-respecting analytics may be used to understand which pages people visit, without building an advertising profile of you.

What we don't ask for

We will never ask you to submit passwords, API keys, card numbers, or account credentials through this form or by email. If a project ends up needing access to a system, we'll arrange that separately and securely.

How we use it

Submissions are used to evaluate whether Helpful Donkey is a good fit for your project, to reply to you, and, if we move forward, to scope and deliver the work. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except the tools we use to run this business (for example, email delivery and secure storage), each bound to keep it confidential.

Sensitive information

The intake form asks whether your project involves personal, health, financial, payment, legal, or employee data, so we can handle it with appropriate care from the start. Only share what's necessary to describe your problem.

How long we keep it

We keep submissions as long as reasonably useful for evaluating and delivering work, or as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your submission at any time.

Your rights

You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Reach out at the email address on our contact page and we'll take care of it.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
